Three things, completely unrelated to one another...
At night when I can't sleep and don't want to disturb the Glenn, I go nighttime treasure hunting for e-books at Project Gutenberg. I try to get the good old feeling of entering a library, you know, sunshine, calm and shelf after shelf of promises, and recall times like picking up a Virginia Woolf biography or The Castle of Llyr by Lloyd Alexander. So far I've only found dreary Sherlock Holmes stories (I like Sherlock Holmes, but boy these are dreary) and a 50's Mars sci fi adventure with giant war prone ants. I make it sound better than it is.
Today I leave for Gothenburg! Gulp. It's not my usual visit old friends and roam the streets city trip, but me as a lecturer... on me. What is the world coming to? Today is all about nerves and rehearsals, talk rehearsals and dress rehearsals. What should I wear?
And I can't wait to redo the look of this blog! Blogger and I aren't friends anymore and I can't use the template designer. I think my code is too helplessly mucked up. Redoing this blog, for better or worse, is one of the things on my "after the Cap & Design talk reward list". The items on this list alternates, but among them have record new Colouroïd tracks and cleaning out the attick storage (fun rewards ahoy!) been.
Let's just say I have ideas for this space. I wanna get cracking.
