2010 is dead, long live 2010. A 2011 will be born unto us.
This is my New Years Eve post, we'll be much too busy preparing for our 30m2 New Years Rave #2 for a later one.
Have a lovely New Years!
Let's meet up in 2011 again, a little older, a little wiser, and with our bellies full of Indian food. That is how my 2010 started.

See, what happened was... After a delicious dinner we took the elevator with the most British looking floor, just kept on going, not only vertically but also horizontally, in different means of transportation, through the snow and past the silhouettes of men, to this place, where the mirrors sported radio commercials and the brick walls were veiled in lace.

| Chinese zoo keepers dressed as pandas, raising a panda baby. Good intentions aside, somehow this eers me out. Does the little panda know, and play along? They must smell so wrong. |

CHRISTMAS FOOD AND NONSENSE

My computer is angry. It screams at me non stop from the moment I press on. It's completely empty, there's no Photoshop, no printer installed, no photo programs, nothing. It's just me and my angry metal baby, sitting in my lap.
I'm sorry for blog interruptions, but there may come some empty days.
This is the view from my mother's balcony, taken on Christmas eve, around two in the afternoon. It's cold outside, cold and utterly beautiful.

December 2008. Two years ago to this day, this blog was born. Also, I caught this man trying to sell puppets outside Konstfack's Christmas fair.January 2009. I was working as script and director's assistant on David Henriksson's short Regarding Tim's death. The Woodland Cemetery has never looked more zombie:esque, though actually we weren't making a horror film!
March 2009. In February I began painting my hallway golden, realizing an old dream of a golden room. While I was standing on a stool doing this, Glenn moved into the building... I know, because I peeped at them through the peephole, flung the door open and shouted at him and our mutual friends: "What are you doing?!" Glenn shouted back: "Now it's time to rave! (Nu ere rave!)" Later the same month, we became an item. Oh, the good life. (The hallway wasn't finished until April, thank you Karol dearest.)
March 2009. Glenn and I discovered a ship wreck frozen into the ice, and a surreal frozen world, scary and wonderful.
April 2009. Before going to Japan I made a tattoo for my late father, the sailor. I love you dad. I know this tattoo would annoy him plenty.
May 2009. I received funding to research a film idea in Tokyo and Kyoto. One day I'll return.
June 2009. Glenn's birthday!
July 2009. This summer was the summer of traveling. Japan, Finland and Glenn and I had our first long holiday together in Berlin. It was indeed loveliness.
August 2009. During my second trip to Finland this summer we went into the deep woods of Karelia, along the border to Russia, to enjoy our heritage, my mother, sister, uncle and I.
September 2009. I compared the style of traditional houses in Kyoto and Karelia.
October 2009. The Glenn and I returned to Berlin for a gig of his.
November 2009. I was spellbound by origami and Glenn and I started our FlexiWave project and had our first DJ-session as Colouroïd!
December 2009. I made Christmas cards for friends and family (not this year!) and Glenn and I threw our first 30m2 New Years Rave. Oh my.
January 2010. We tried on glasses, but didn't buy.
February 2010. I began my What Was Once project and Glenn and I had the wonderfullest of weekends in Barecelona. Thank you, Lidia!
March 2010. I posted this pic from our journey to Barcelona.
April 2010. During the reign of the volcano, I woke up with a shooting star etched into my belly, from drawing too many stars for What Was Once. Glenn celebrated his Easter of The Three Days of Gigs. Then he fell asleep.
May 2010. I discovered that Yayoi Kusama was right and that dots had indeed begun the annihilation of the world.
September 2010. I made Colouroïd kaleidoscope visuals, Glenn's grandmother died, we went to Gothenburg, endured the horrible election results and this blog got its' current name and address.
October 2010. I took press photos of Cynthia Stern, who did the styling herself. CinemArena happened. And we experienced the third death in a row, thus breaking the spell.
November 2010. Autumn, lovely autumn, when the trees are on fire.
December 2010. One day to Christmas. And soon a new year... and the second 30m2 New Years Rave!
